Thank you for your interest in the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 4. Local 4 became part of the IUEC in February 1899. Since then the members of Local 4 have been installing, repairing, maintaining, modernizing and testing the elevators, escalators and other conveyances of the New England area. The IUEC Local 4 was organized on July 18, 1899, in Boston, Massachusetts with the objectives to offer education, cultivate friendship and unity, and to develop and maintain a higher standard of skill to its members.
